Boy racers look at BHP , its the torque that matters-and where its made.Making 200bhp in a daily driver 'commuter' car is feck all use if its made at 8k rpm and had feck all below that!
I always though ppfffffff 5bhp . A well set up AAZ with cam timed in 100% , pump lift set to spot on (mine was 1mm) and a replacement boost pin was a million miles away from the 1.6td it replaced.

HUUUUUUUUUUUGE improvement in mpg and could holder higher gears for longer and easier to drive around town , less tap dancing.Pulled like a Merthyr 6th former from tick-over.
