this looks great. Just been out to look at my van, and as i have high back porsche seats, i can't get them to recline enough i don't think for the higher up type of bed. Where do you buy this box section metal from, and is it expensive? Is it easy enough to cut through to, with a jigsaw? I can't weld, but maybe i could use some wing nuts ot something to hold it in place perhaps?

I don't need mine anymore. Happy to sell it if you want it £60 + postage (or could bring to Dubfreeze if your going). It has been painted and comes with a bag . I had a unit on the drivers side of the van that the pole sat on rather than a bracket. To bring it up to the correct height I welded a short piece of box. I could easily be ground off and another bracket made up.

If you want to make one yourself then have a look for a local steel merchant. The mild steel cuts easily with a hacksaw. You could use a bolt for the locating pins but it wouldn't sit flat.

Thanks for the offer Slobbo. Bit more than I've got to spend at the moment, but thanks
