Wading is a different story anyway ...because you are submerging your turbo with or without tinware :D and hopefully do so with care.

But imagine a nice long hard drive along country roads in these arid (not) countries of ours and count the times when you splash through puddles at the side of the road (incidentally the side that your turbo is bolted on).

Your turbo will be hot in that situation.

Engine has manged 2 years in Spain up and down to Malaga airport etc at around 100 km/hr with Tinware on with no probs (so far ) but it is running a good diesel 10/40 shell synthetic (nice and cheap in Gib!)-Cant vouch for any immersion as most things are dry 75% of the time-still reality check next year when we're due home. :cry:
