Jeees..me again...changed dizzy cap, rotor arm, leads and plugs cause they were dodgy as feck...does run sweeter...in fact i managed to drive around my block a dozen times

But..it still has bad flat spots...when coming off the throttle completly and then re applying it will die and then fire back up again...not good

Breather thing still bothers me...spits water and oil at me...but coolant level is fine :?

time for the pros to take over i think...big bucks no doubt

Where did i put those matches

Sorry to here about your problems.

I had a VW Polo a while back that just kept going breasticles ups on me, start stop etc. After spending loads of money going through the process of elimination it turned out to be a pin prick of a hole in a fuel line, this sucked in air causing the engine to stop. I was assured by the guy who looked at my car that all the lines had been replaced. The problem i had at the time was that i could drive it for weeks then it would suddenly stop. It was finally rectified by a breakdown mechanic who went straight to it. I had changed everything like you have, so it could be something as simple as a faulty fuel line. It's worth changing them (only pennies) before you seek professional help as adivised on here.

Good luck and hang in there :)
