Yes mate, get a propex or eberspacher as Tony said - you can fit them yourselves (lots of guides on here) or pay big bucks for someone to do it for you (a new one). I think propex is lot cheaper when new (around £650).

They turn your van into a proper home - expensive, but well worth the money!

Maybe Propex heaters were optional in Auto-Sleepers as I have come across one or two without them (earlier vans). The cost new is £399 for the standard model which is more than adequate for a T25. Not sure if all the bits & bobs like thermostat, pipes & vents are included.

That makes sense - they were optional in villa 3's too

I think if i had a under floor leisure LPG tank fitted then a new propex would be the way to go. However, with the price of camping gaz (and because i use my heater all the time) i couldnt afford to run it.

Forgot to add that I also fitted a gas tank in the back so allways lots of cheapish gas on call, got an adaptor rigged so IF I should run out I can connect my small propane(for BBQ).
It maybe sounds over the top but we go for weeks and may spend a lot of the time away from civilisation for want of a better word,

Have got a mate who had bought a propex heater to fit to his van , but has now sold the van and the heater is still sitting in its box under his desk at work....unfitted and brand new. He wont use it now.
If you want to save yourself a few £, give him a ring on 07976847042 and ask for Martin. Based in Stafford, but he could send it out via his works mail.

Thanks for the link to your web pages (only done 2008 so far) makes me want to go north this winter

i fitted a propex heater in charlotte this year when i rebuilt the furniture. it cetainly keeps the van warm (i got the one with two outlets for 429) its heavy on the gas, at the mo i am using camping gaz. i understand that you can buy a gaslow system that you can refill at lpg fuel stations for about 130 pounds,(thats the price of the conversion not the refill )i have no idea what a vapour take of system costs and i must get charlotte running lpg again but having probs since fitting new carbs.
