You can see the bow on the poles in this photo, including the upright poles, which are adjustable on our tent, didn't really seem to make a great deal of difference how you adjusted them though.

We only attached it to the van once, in three weeks, but ended up using it as shown in the photo. With the door flap out on it's poles we pulled the connection gusset thing out over it. This meant that when it rained it gave a dry vestibule before entering the tent. This was quite effective, and meant that only the fly screen needed zipping at night. (mind you it was a bit warmer) But for those elusive hot British summer nights, and showers it would work well. We used a few bungees to get the tension right.

I was looking to get one of these but they seemed to be sold out everywhere. I hope the problem is fixable because they look like a
great addition to the van.
It's good to see some photos of them in action too.

i know this of no use to you poor beggars that are struggling with your poles but the £249. just kampers awning is awesome and a piece of p*ss to put up.

I can't really add anything to this thread other than a photo of our Reimo Tourmobil XXL (Mk1),
which hasn't been an ounce of trouble, apart from me needing a hand during erection,,,, (Nothing new there then)

We have recently traded up to the Mk2 version with the moveable front door, flat front and sun peak :and a wicket gate, everyone should have a wicket gate.....
