its back to basics then...........
1.take a lead off, insert a spark plug, ground the outer, and get someone to spin the engine, check you have a spark - if yes
2.check fuel is reaching the carb - if yes
3.check timing
4.if no to 1. check spark from king lead (coil to dissy) - if yes, check rotoe arm and dissy cap, make sure dissy cap has got a springloaded nipple in center
if no to 4 check earth lead (brown) from ignition unit is connecting to earth point on top of lhs head, check ignition unit is working(substitute only way)

Hmm will have a look at it. Find it odd that it dont run now when all they did was steal the three parts. Would have thought replacing them with new would have got the van back up and running. Worries me what they have done to it!

just because you bought new doesnt mean they are good........its common for leads and dissy caps to be naff out of the packet from places such as gsf and europarts...... also, just occured to me, you did get the correct leads didnt you, some have centre pins, and need you to take the caps off the plugs, and some are old type which need the caps on the plugs...... grasping at straws now mate.........
