When you're logged in to Photobucket and looking at the thumbnails of your photos:

* click on the img code and copy it
* return to 80-90 and paste it into your reply
* click on 'preview' to see if the photo is going to display in your post

It seems to be working OK! thanks a lot. I had to go back and forth between the two sites after each pic. I tried to copy all three but it only took the first one every time.
I will now be able to ask some technical questions with pics

Nice one Sid, that's a fine looking Brian that you've got there! Yeah, it's worth persevering with the photo posting because it often saves a thousand words when it comes to asking the technical questions.

The van looks better in the pics than in real life. I think it is basically pretty solid except for a bit of rot above the tailgate where the hi-top joins the body and a bit of surface rust here and there. The Hot Box heater is now working OK. I have relocated the water pump, modified the locker hinges and fitted the BI-Pot cassette toilet. I have booked it in, next Monday, to my local garage for a complete service and to have the choke/cold start system sorted. At the moment it fires up and runs for a few seconds, it does this a few times before starting to tick over very slowly. I have to leave it ticking over for 3 or four minutes before it will take any throttle at all and even then it is very erratic.

Brian looks smashin! I think you did ok with the price you paid, some people pay silly money.

If you want any bodywork done then take it to 'J + W Automotives' at the wire works ind estate. Lee and Richard are always buisy so you will have to book in advance but they do a good job at a reasonable price.

Yer you lot i didnt know there were so many of us Type 25 nutters in Somerset, we will all have to meet up somewhere,sometime.

There used to be a VW club that met at the pub by the motorway at Woolavington on a Sunday perhaps that might be an idea.

You can count me in, not sure about meeting on a Sunday though. Now the scorching hot weather, global warming you know, is about to hit us a lot of people may be off somewhere at weekends. Being retired I would prefer to go off during the week but most things seem to happen at weekends, something to do with a thing called work and people having to go to it on a regular basis during the week!

hehe - mine's Brian too!!! The day I collected it, we only managed 48 mph - hence the name, but after servicing it - got a whole 62 before it all got a bit squirelly. Have considered changing name to Zebedee as front end a bit bouncy till suspension done

Now howcome in my '85 Autosleeper solid sided pop top, the wardrobe thing was on the passenger side? Most people seem to have theirs on the the drivers side.
Not that I have a complex about it but I took it out to make for a bigger sleeping area.

Sleepers changed the layout after 85 and fitted the VHT interior to the poppers

i bought an 85 one last year - had exactly the same cold start problem which is now fixed. - runs lovely now.

It depends on the conversion I think. mine had the wardrobe on the passenger side but we took it out to accomodate the lpg tank. If you have a full width bed, the wardrobe is on the passenger side, otherwise, cupboards all the way down the drivers side from what I have seen.
