Have you thought of this angle if you have a high top it may put an extra strain on your engine especially if if is an old engine and a 1.6 for example and also perhaps more importantly fuel consumption and weight due to these factors weight and wind resistance it will use more fuel with a high top as apposed to a pop top important in these times of high fuel prices.
