Them engines are fairly much bulletproof.
Great engine, not fast and they don't rev but loads of b*llocks.
And they are painted red too if memory serves.
They came out of 740's and that.
From the ones I used to look after back in the day they never gave trouble, just tip some oil in every now and again and they are happy.
One of the best cars we had in the family, and the only car my dad ever bought new was a 740 in 1985, he owned it till recently, then it went to my brother, other than service it we did no mechanical repairs to it, when they say tank they mean it.
Great engine choice for a T3, bit heavy but perfectly suited to the job.

Still looks nice wothout the Plough, though I think theres more of a chance you'll have to reverse to a passing place on a narrow Devon lane without it, not much more chance though :lol: .
