If you want something to go up hills better what about a 2.1 DJ ? Either on the factory injection system or on the DG carb. We've just done it and our fully-loaded camper laughs in the face of 1 in 5's going up in 3rd and very nearly 4th (of 5) even on gas.
We have the DG carb/lpg system on it so didn't want the DJ injection stuff.
