It looks like it. It says in the big green book that they are pressed in too!
Dunno I f I can be bothered with this, I might just whack my 7" Porsche teledials on with adapters!
Or look for a more suitable set of wheels.

My 10mm spacers just arrived!
So, how hard is it going to be to change the front studs? A propper mission?

i spoke to russel about this a while ago. apparently you need to press the front hubs apart, knackering the wheelbearings and seals in the process, then reassemble with new parts.
I want to fit ML 16" alloys, but due to the offset and width I think I will need 25mm of spacing, so I will probably go the bolt on route...

planning the same myself and have been told et is 47 on the ml 16s so thinking 10 to 15 mm spacers would be ok.
going to price up studs and spacers for the rear and i`m concidering adapters for the front as then you dont have to split the bearings.
what do ya think. lee.

the spacers have to be thick enough to bolt on. wheelnuts are probably 15-20mm thick, so 20-25mm would be a minumum? has anyone got and T25 bolt on spacers they can measure and let us know?

well i`m not sure how wide the porche spacers i have are i`d guess about 25mm but the bolts are std you may be able to run them narrower if we were to cut the bolt head down as i`ve seen a kit with this done somewhere.
saying that it might work out cheaper to just do the bearings and studs.
what size / type tyres are you thinking of running.

probably colway CCM+S4 remoulds like im running currently, not sure on size yes, need to check diameter, probably 235/65R16, they are about £40 quid each and pretty good all round.

i`m tempted to try the kumho kl71 a friend of a friend has them on his landy and recons the`re really good on and off road.
anyone tried them on a syncro.

IMHO don't cut bolt head down. Bolt head thickness is part of strength designed into bolt. Thinner is weaker, and the load when using spacers is on bolt head.
