Hi CJ, :D
Really sorry but I cant make the weekend.
It's the same weekend as the Sidmouth Folk Festival, I am doing security for it and can't get out of it.
Hope to drop in soon, found that T4 syncro manual if you still want it let me know.

Have a great weekend, and well done for doing all the organising.

Simon.

CJ - will be there *2. Me in the dodgy Doka and the missus in the Westy.

If we take the Westy out it will be on the nice and easy route - difflocks not working. Mind you it got us out of Womad this morning when everyone else was getting towed by tractors :)

If the Doka makes the journey I'll take that as a sign that it wants to go for a sniff in the woods.

Hehe! Look forward to meeting up again Stefan... and your Syncros *2 this time. Can't see why those difflocks won't be workimg if you get there early enough Friday

Heard the Radio 4 prog on WOMAD last night, I'm sure you'll be able to tell us more - did you take a drum (or two) for the all-night session :)

Eeeeek!

V-belt snapped last night on the 16" Doka (2.1L petrol, 1988) and the destroyed belt claims to be a 9.5*1100. Before I go charging off to Halfords, can anyone confirm this? It's just that the v-belt on the 14" 1.9L Westy is a 10*1075. Was expecting a chunkier v-belt on the Doka.

My local VW supplier's computer is down so he can't confirm for me and I can't see it on www.vagcat.com

Cheers

Having just finished a very busy night shift at the Sidmouth Folk Festival and seen a beautiful sunrise over the broken ship Napoli I am more than a little jealous of the syncronauts camping at CJ's. What a weekend of weather for some off roading. Oh well, there is always next year. I will now go off and get some sleep, you lot have fun!!
