Doent keep my kids happy, they finish school on the 6th......... so we wont be coming...

and anyone else with kids wont be there either... UK schools wont be off... not a very good date to be honest... :?

So you might want to book it for 30th/1st to give people a fighting chance...

Only joking Simon, honest...

BVF is the following weekend, so 30th June/1st July avoids a clash?

If you haven't responded to the mini questionnaire about dates please do so asap as a final decision needs to be made so we can book the site.

Thanks

Thanks everyone for responding to mini questionnaire..

First weekend won it by a small margin, and as it ties up with the Workhouse festival nearby and is available, that's what we've gone with..

So SP4 will June 30th, July 1st weekend, and expect a small group will camp the Sunday night too for local Green Laning on the Monday... (nice area)

Friday night camping no problem as usual... possibility of music. General idea is a convivial summer grand get-together at a cracking site, riverside wild camping with Saturday night barbecue and campfire being the focal point - make it or break it* (getting there) :)

Must be pre-booked as usual, 2WD and 4WD prices will be announced with a Syncro forum flyer ad. This will include the use of large communal barbecue and salad/bread/condiments provided

Sorry Simon, took some time for all the responses to come in and meanwhile Coast to Coast took priority.

'fraid we're a bit like that Simon, so laid back we're almost horzirontal :)

Sorry you can't make those dates this year...

We find that whenever we set a date, there are those that can and those that can't make it... those who'll always make it and those who might. Sometimes, nearly all those champing at the bit 3 months earlier don't book, and at the last minute a whole lot of others do (thank goodness)... a sort of catastrophe theory!

This year we thought we'd ask, normally we don't, with the result that answers came in dribs and drabs for quite a long time - perhaps we'll skip the democratic bit next time

Off topic... but maybe a week long Syncropendence is on the cards in a couple of years time, spanning two weekends, where people can come and go with a wider range of activities?

Driving days, Tech and repair days, laning days, trial days and of course a lazy horzirontal day

Well we're off tomorrow for SP4, so wish us luck, it might bucket down all weekend (forecast), it might not (not forecast), but one way or another we'll find a way to have some fun... and hopefully learn the odd trick into the bargain.

...and of course, we'll let you know about the brighter spots of the weekend upon our return, count on that as usual :)
