its not easy to work out exactly what you need without knowing exactly what vehicle and year the engine came from and how it was installed, now it is in a T3 its not clear what you have where, nor if the install you are trying to make it look like was done purely using the parts from the original car or is in itself a composite done to achieve an optimal 'professional' installation. If you can talk to the person who did the job you like the look of you'd get good info.
afaics the hose from the air flow meter to the throttle body for say a 98 Golf AGG is 1H0 129 684 D, take a look at one and see if that looks right for yours.
It is always worth contacting Elvis, but he only comes on here to sell stuff these days generally; pretty sure there is a dedicated AGG into T3 group on facebook that he is maybe mod for, or similar group on whatsapp but I don't do those so can't give you any more info

Reinforced pvc pipe pushed into a rubber hose does not suggest OEM level installation...

unfortunately no contact with the original installer, difficult to find someone to work on this kind of set up well it is around derby anyway. which is why I'm trying to source some parts and have a go myself. all I have is stock pictures on the web to go on really.
