Is there any difference between diesel injectors on an AAZ and the JX .

Google says that AAZ injectors are “two stage” but JX injectors are “single stage”. I’m not sure whether that makes any difference in practice in terms of fuel delivery, but the taller body of the AAZ injectors will probably mean that you will need to “persuade” the injector pipes to fit if you use them with the JX pump.

I've googled so much and nothing is definitive.
Checked ebay all sellers quoting aaz jx injectors the same ,
Will send the injectors off for reconditioning instead , including the pump .
Engine runs but won't rev up beyond 2000 rpm , smoking .
From what I've found the pump is prone to gumming up if left . It last ran 6 years ago .

They’re definitely different parts.

For the JX injectors:
Volkswagen OEM Number: 068 130 201 B
Bosch Assembly Number: 0 986 430 080



For the AAZ injectors
Volkswagen OEM Number: 028 130 201 B
Bosch Assembly Number: 0 432 193 732



Both the VW and Bosch numbers are normally stamped on the injector body.
