Yes 100W solar panel should be enough, though it depends how it is fitted, A flat roof install is good for parking in any orientation, but you lose power because the sun is at an angle to the surface. 

In fact, I can't fit a panel permanently, because I have a Reimo hi top with curves in all directions .. so  I bought a fold out 200W panel from Renogy, and tried it out this bank holiday, which was oversupplied with sun. In one sense it was slightly disappointing, since it topped up the battery before 10:00 am and then shut down for most of the day, only waking up to run the compressor coolbox when needed!

I have a Vitrofrigo (I think thats how its spelt) 50ltr compressor fridge which has been great, not the cheapest but really quite low consumption.

I do have a lithium battery and 215w solid solar panel though so I guess that helps.

I am a little mixed up , I would really need a hook up after mid September to mid May and as I really need some form of heating especially by night and don't trust the propane heater on for long periods before and during bedtimes.
So whatever I do in terms of investment for off grid use will only be efficiently used for a four month window , during this window its going to be a max of say 6 trips, more likely 4.So I am trying to balance the 90 w solar panel idea against a 200 amp Li ion battery with intelligent charger, the latter being an easy fit with no holes drilled etc.
I reckon a fridge would easily run for a three/four day period with the battery idea if required and no other drain during that 4 month window and day trips.Amazon has Lithium 200 a ( 10 year warranty) batteries for around £270 and various chargers for around £50 -£60, so a self fit would be easy - and cost effective,coming in at around £330 ( fridge will be about £300) so all in all £630 (ish) , so have decided this week to make a decision, up to now the battery idea is riding high. All of your comments , and others have really helped my thinking as I hadn't a clue at the beginning , also any further details/comments gratefully received as there,s always some good ideas on this forum.
