Be careful when you put the hose on the plastic inlet of the clutch master, dont bend it.

Thanks, i will, a neighbour of mine who is a mechanic has said the drivers seat needs to come out to make access easier. My seat appears to be permanantely fixed with bolts and no release available.

Removal of the seat isnt going to make it easier, just open the door and have a go.

👍thanks, I will, bad back allowing. I think he mentioned the seat because although it does move back its restricted because of the appliances, cooker etc behind it.

Still trying to get seat out with no joy, please see images of bolts I think need removing in order to get seat out. Have not got socket or other device to remove bolts and may have to rely on my neighbour. However am I wasting my time on these bolts in any case they are not the ones that need removing to release the chair?? Cannot upload images for some unknown reason. The bolts I refer too sit inside the runner rail 8 in no 4 pairs. 2 pairs either side. Difficult to access due position inside rail.

There is a release catch / hook on one side that stops the seat coming off the rails.
Slide the seat forward,
Release the stop hooky thing,
And slide forward off the rails.

Thanks Robsey, heard of this catch but my seat does not seem to have one, there is a clunk when sliding seat forward and back but cannot find any release mechanism.

Small sprung lever/catch on the inner bracket that holds the base of the seat to the back. Located at the lower front of the bracket. Lift it up and wrestle the seat forwards. Assuming standard seats are fitted

Job done, I hope, left seats in and struggled every bit of the way to replace cylinder. Filled reservoir and nipped up the connector line at the master cylinder between this and slave end after fluid seeped out. Didnt have to bleed at slave as I was able to depress clutch pedal, select gear and drive van forward and back. Hope this is end of issue, will check fluid levels tomorrow. Thanks all for helpful replies.
