There should be three bulbs.
All are 1.2 watt 12v capless bulbs.
Type 286 springs to mind.

Bulbs are.
Left for the speedometer

Middle for warning LED legend

Right for gauges.

Analogue clock, fuel gauge, temp gauge and rev counter.
All dependent on engine (air or water cooled), trim level and model year.
And retro-fit bodging.

If you are any good at basic soldering, you could bypass the whole loom and make up a mini loom with two wires for each bulb (or LED in my case).

One wire from each bulb (or LED in my case) would go to the grey/blue wire on the dash connector.

The other wire goes to a good chassis or ground point. (Factory colour for ground would be brown).

Not sure how, but after all the jiggling, I managed to get one of the lights working. No idea how, but I can now tell roughly how fast i am going at night.

Thanks for your assistance, will update after i have done some more jiggling.

Thankfully the roads in the peak district have potholes, and after a trip up there for the weekend, all lights are now working.

Thanks for your assistance!
