injectors are permanently live; earthed by the ecu to fire them
2.1 DJ wiring diagram on Syncrosport, saves extrapolating from the digijet 1.9 wiring in Bentley, though pin outs are afaik the same, though with added lambda on 1.9

I checked Earth from engine to body by coil and it's not connected to engine.
How would that stop the injectors from firing?
No idea. Just a process of elimination.

Syncrosport shows same as Bentley for DJ2.1.
