After no success using the original frame from an Argos camp bed, I threw it, nipped down the wood shop via Wilkos, and 20 minutes later... voila! I wouldn't want Geoff Capes kipping in it, but for 2 year old Kai, it should be fine.

Ditched the original poles in favor of oval profile hanging rails from Homebase (designed to fit U fittings) The advantage is that the poles cannot move or swivel! Total cost £35.00 (including the camp bed) and strong enough for an adult to lie on!

WELL DONE GUYS!

still working on mine as i want it to have sides to stop summer rolling out. Shes a bit younger though at 11 months old. I have also used wooden batons, but the oval metal poles look great.
