Made a start on getting parts ready for the rebuild.
1st on the list was the opening quarter windows.
Stripped, repainted frames. Cleaned fittings and rubbers and put back together. Really happy with them.

More progress, unfortunately not many photos of the primer process as I wasn't around at the time. Its also had a bit of raptor on the rear panel, front deformation panel, bottom of the cills and inner wheel arches.

Had a good day on the van today.
Front grills, headlights and indicators in.
Front doors back on with new seals. Locks, latches, check straps and handles back in. Quarter lights fitted as well. Was annoying stopped short at this point as I left my drop glass at home.

.

Got the tailgate on, brand new seal, latch and lock back in, new gas struts and fittings. Also brand new badges. Got the new rear bumper on as well.

Got a few other little jobs ticked off, new door mirrors fitted, new aerial and the rear vents back in, retrieved my washer pipe that fell behind the dash.
Also picked up my wheels from the powder coaters.
Got a few hours on it tomorrow, hoping to get the drop glass and remaining seals in, front bumper on and also the sliding door and associated parts.
Its good to see it coming together finally.

Another productive day, lots done although it doesn't look much different.
Got the drop glass in and all the seals back in.
Front bumper on and fitted the sliding door, easy to fit but god it took so long aligning to get it to shut and get the gaps right.

Slowly but surely getting there.

Looks amazing! Who did the bodywork for you? Mine is going to need a bit of TLC in the not too distant future.Ā

The welding was done by local company, unfortunately mine was his last job and he's now closed and relocated abroad.
The paint was done by the company I work for in Hull, they are a commercial vehicle bodyshop and don't really take jobs like this on.
Sorry that's not very helpful.
There is however another welding company local to me that's done some recent work on another of my vehicles that comes highly recommended. Dan at DST Rustoworx, you can find them on Facebook.

Been a bit slack with this in recent weeks, it's currently in a unit 50miles away from home, so it's a bit out of sight out of mind.
However managed to get another day on it, windscreen and rear window now fitted , wipers arms and new blades. Refitted both fuel balance tanks and the washer bottle. Rear lights back in and a fresh set of number plates.

Had a good check over everything and thought I was finally ready for MOT.... until I decided to fit the new wheels.
With it jacked up and both wheels removed noted both spring mounts are hanging off on the rear trailing arms. š«© So slight delay but parts ordered, itching to drive it again now.

Absolutely loving those final 2 pics with the alloys fitted. That panel van could hold its own amongst a lot of the modern stuff on the market. (Well, perhaps Iām a bit biased!)
