Ok, looking good again.
A good cleanout of the carb got the engine running smoothly again and we have cured the water leak by replacing the expansion tank.
I can get on with some more cosmetic work now then its all systems go for Pickering

yes, crawled into bed at 3am after consuming copius amounts of alcohol for first time in 3 years, then woken at 8am by arrival of the inlaws to help us with van = a not very helpful me all day lol
