Well if that is the voltage at the bulbs then you are loosing much lumens

Not at the bulbs. Readings taken at the spur wiring for the inner lamps. Both sides look very rough, though. I can see where inner lamps were previously mounted. But not squares as the bodywork tabs are still in situ for round headlamps. Perhaps SA grill combo round inner lamps fitted many moons ago.
I think a good clean up, or wire replacement with relays, is on the order books.

Well if you are onto the piggy back wires then thats the same as the bulb is getting under load .
It’s very low !

Had a quick clean up today. Then slapped a bit of dielectric grease on the terminals.The inner feed and earth wires dont piggy back into the headlamp three pin connectors. PO's spliced into cables about 100mm before headlamps and covered with electrical tape. Very professional
Engine running, alternator producing 13.8 Spurs wires giving 12.6.
Going to give it some more attention. Or even swap out wiring and fit relays.

Thanks. Im going to make good the poor wiring and put together my own extensions.
Still not sure about fitting the LHD set. Could have got a pair of bumper mounted spot lamps for 40 quid and saved £210.

Do the lights not have the manual adjusters so you can wind them to RHD spec?

No amount of winding will make the glass change shape !

Never knew it was the glass that was different so learned something new
I thought that they had headlamp adjusters for horizontal and vertical adjustments so by tweeking those you could adjust the beam direction from a LHD to RHD.

Something to do with lense pattern, too.
How about turning them upside down?

Y know (in my head at least) that makes sense to do that..

But my head is a strange place.
