I checked CV bolts were tight before my strip. The CVs themselves I haven’t checked perhaps a rebuild is in order?

I am going to re-do mine when I change the gearbox.
A quick test is to see if you can waggle the driveshafts from side to side. if it is too easy there is no more grease left...

Drove about 20km yesterday got worse and worse. Nursed it home and put it up on the lift. The fuel filter was completely clogged. I drained the tank and looks like there was another liquid not petrol in the tank also along with numerous particles. I had checked the filter before my trip so in 1000km it had completely filled with sediment

New filter in and it’s back driving like normal. Still a slight bit of pinking but the carbs need a bit of a clean out as I’m sure debris has passed through the filter. Also need to get the carbs properly synced and tuned up.

New fuel tank time. I just hope I haven’t done any damage to the mechanical fuel pump
