I swapped my engine the day before my wedding because we were using it as the wedding car, and did it in an afternoon. Most would probably take a bit longer, say 6-8 hours? Our workshop rate was £50ph, so 300-400 GBP.

Hi, as an afterthought, I should probably have posted this question in the general chat! I was also wondering if any of you alternative engine people might be planning to remove a well maintained and not too high mileage early wbx that is likely to be up for sale sometime cheers

When my 2.1 is done my 1.9 will be up for sale but its a late cooling system job but an early case as it only has the one oil pressure switch.
