So the light is still flashing when warmed up , but only at low revs or tick over , if I have my foot down a tiny bit it’s off ???

Ok, so you know oil pressure is ok from the test (what pressure did the engine achieve by the way?). Anyway, time to change the blue sensor switch by the push rods tubes. You’ll need a 24mm long socket to get the old one out. New sensor, torque down to 30Nm.
...and if still no joy, it’ll be the wiring...

hopefully, my pressure switches turn up tomorrow they were supposed to be here today, DPD totally let me down
just drove the van for probably for an hour as soon as I'm on say a duel carriageway the light is off and soon as the revs are up its off, just when the revs dip or I drive in a too higher gear, (out of practice with brand new company cars) that's when it starts blinking at me, no buzzer though ! i guess its probably been removed.
thanks for the picture, I'll try and find that in the manual

Buzzer wouldn’t come on at low revs , only over 2.200 iirc

rights so I don't want to say it's fixed but just had a pretty good drive in it and heated up till fan came on sat at idle and various driving speeds and the light was off, had one little flicker when I coasted with it out of gear.
when I changed the sensor the old one didn't seem very tight compared to when I torqued the new one up to 30nm
The old old one didn't even look that old to be fair. pic of the old one below.
I'll wait a week then do oil change and filter.
so fingers crossed, thanks again for advice.

Well, who tested the oil pressure? They were the last one at this blue sensor and the-fitted it loose. Glad it seems ok though, 15/40 mineral oil & 719/12 filter to go next week.

Wouldn’t worry about the flicker when coasting , that would be the engine revs dropping too:low I suspect
Right , next problem .......

friend of my uncles, a mechanic, I believe he tested the top one or maybe not that would explain why the rod cover was so easy to get off?!
I have that oil and a Mann filter.
next problem, water pump for the sink is not working and the ignition leads look about 30 years old,
