I have removed the S from the HTTP hopefully that will work

Bolt will probably need a screwdriver slot, in the end, to hold it from turning the upper disk when tightening.

I was tinkering under my camper the way you do .. My camper has the bungs in place, the one you need has a VW part number
251 899 189 .. Hopefully that will help.

There are some battered ones available on eBay.de(not cheap), and brand new ones (just €1 each) on this German web shop:

Unfortunately, shipping to UK is €18 !!!
Still, it’s good to know that an original VW part exists, and what P/N to look out for.
UPDATE: after contacting wagenteile, the postage was reduced to €8.60. Still a bit steep for four bits of plastic, but I like OEM stuff so I have gone ahead and ordered 4 bungs.
