Indeed, thanks for posting this and delighted you managed to get the line in the right place

Looking awesome, thoroughly enjoying the progress pics.
Can I ask what spray gun set up you’re using?

Thanks, it's been a long time getting to this stage, as there has been a lot of panel replacement and repairs in the 4 months I've owned it, but it's been well worth it to see it looking loved again. Cant wait to sort the interior out next!
As for the spray gun setup, I'm not sure as its my dad doing the Spraying. I will ask him tomorrow and get some pics for you.
I know that it uses these small 'bladder' type pots made of a soft plastic, that he pre fills and lines up with the paint. The bladder goes into a larger more rigid pot which attaches to the gun. It's quite clever and very fast as when one runs out, it unscrews and goes straight in the bin and a new one is attached and away you go again. A lot less messy than a standard spray gun.

As promised Anneapple, here is the spray gun set up we used to do the van. It's a 3M PPS system. You can see the internal pots that are made of a collapseable plastic that fit in a harder outer pot.

Great van, what colour code is the blue paint, it's the same as mine and I need a colour match some new bodywork. TIA Tom

Looking good! What make of pop top/roof do you have?

Shame didn't see this post earlier as the line you have done seems similar to our van.

Sorry for the late response. This is an Autohomes rigid side pop top. The pictures only show the top cap as I've taken the sides off for refurbishment, but I'll post some pics of it up once it's all back together. I'm told these are becoming quite rare these days.

Ah, thought it was, mine would originally have had one of those fitted, very nice. Mine has a high top which was fitted when I bought it, I do like the headroom and dry storage though.

Hi I noticed that your Kamper has a new roof cap, may I enquire where you got it from as mine is on the way out

Hi autostart,
I just refurbished the cap myself. It was in pretty good condition to be honest, so may have been replaced by the previous owner or it may just be that it has been well looked after. I did a few repairs and insulated and ply lined it and then had it painted.
