I was wondering what timing people use for 1.9dg when running both LPG and petrol?

5 degrees.

As I understand timing is you can advance it a little with high octane fuel like LPG or 98 RON and it will enable the fuel to be burnt with a bit more power but that advance risks detonation and so it's safest to stick with 5 degrees. It's not like you are going to get enough more power to even feel it.

Far more risky is the LPG being adjusted lean and that causing detonation.
