Was in your area ten days back. Very nice visit to Bosham with a bit of Solent sailing too. Had a swim off East Head in glorious weather.

not mine
gas fed in before AFM you can see the pipes joining a part that fits between filter housing and AFM
orange ring is backfire valve.

Ah yes. Silly me. Two pipes into air filter area just before AFM. Trying to view on an Android phone ! Any idea how back fire valve works on digijet? Simple flap on carb l do understand.

same principle. there should be no positive pressure in the plenum so it will have some sort of release valve.

most people junk the injection because a carb is more simple and when running on gas it's no real benefits.

anyone have any first hand experiences of converting a DJ to carb?

Just wondering would there much of a drop in power and fuel efficiency going from an old school injection to carb. I currently have a standard fuel injected DJ running LPG

No but when running on LPG on injection where gas is fed in before the throttle body you are essentially running on a setup the same as a carb on lpg so economy will be the same.

A carb with no petrol is now just a throttle body .

If you fitted lpg injection things may be different.
