Yeah pretty much what multisi has said. But the upper panel flanges onto the remaining arch you can see. Only thing stressing my mind at the minute is how to connect the new full panel back onto the arch creating a seal. I’ve got a few ideas but if anyone knows the correct way let me know [THUMBS UP SIGN]

That's the same question I was asking, got the repair panel, got an engine floor section with an extension out to the wing, how to fix them together :?:

Oh wait, hang on, I got some pics earlier this year from a lovely panel van at a show. I went with a guy from Schofields to show him what I needed before he made the engine floor piece.

Any good ?

Been a busy lad tonight, done some repairs to the arch and finished off the section above the rail. Needs filling and finishing but it’s solid and straight for now. Well happy with the progress so far ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Keep it up, You're nearly doing all my work for me, really appreciate the photo updates.

Looks like you've nicked my welder too, looks very familiar so now I can't even blame the equipment when I start again :D

Cheers mate yeah it’s a good little mig set I had never done any mig before this van only stick welding previously. Im slowly getting the hand of it. I used .6mm wire for the first time today and I think it’s so much better and easier. Hopefully it’ll all be welded up shortly got my new offside sill and lower panel today so I can now finish off that side

Update from today with regards to the arch all went to plan made a piece shaped it arround the arch lined it up to the repair wing panel then tacced it into place and now tack the repair panel to the arch piece from the inside. Then loads of seam sealant. Should be sound
