Definitely the best way forward multisi. Been in touch with Richard at RJES and ordered the hose and also sorted out the right tank.
Sorry for the ignorance (

) but what’s the best way to bleed the system and what do you mean by open the heater settings? Would normally get the garage for this sort of thing but as I can obviously change the tank and pipework myself would be good to also be able to do the rest. Cheers.

Open the heater controls, as in set the cabin control sliders to hot, so that the water is pushed brought the front heart matrix / radiator too.
Once you're fixed up though, you can enjoy a way simpler cooling setup than a wbx engine with a fraction of the connections

Thanks for all the advice guys - got the new header tank and pipework from RJES fitted now. Just want to double check where to fill from on the radiator. Is the bolt the one to the left of the radiator as you look at the van. I’m assuming it is as can’t see any other but just want to be sure!

Thats the air bleed screw. Fill the system from the engine end, it will burp out a lot of air on its own.
