I just got it back from the garage in working order. I swapped the engine with one from Simon Davey which seems good.
It was cheaper than changing the head gaskets even with fitting, new water pump, new clutch and me doing a full service! (£1,100 all in so still painful)
I now have a spare DG engine with a busted head gasket (failed the sniff test) - is anyone interested?

Does this include the 450 for the engine??
If it does, thats not too bad and will be (hopefully) good for years

Yes it does. Even the £80 for next day delivery of the engine!

I have just replaced my DG with a DJ, as the DG failed a sniff test.
Therefore, one of the head gaskets needs sorting.
Is anyone interested in taking the engine on?

He's forgiven then, you can sit on the naughty step for 2 minutes.
