amazing thanks Dave!

so i can get those blue lights and wire them up to the leisure battery? Will I also need to buy some kind of switch or do they come with one already? I'm thinking 12v light are the way to go and esp if they are low power. Like you said earlier i'm very rearely on hookup anyway.
I'm going to ikea this weekend to pick up a wardrobe for my mum, so can pick some up then. What colour did you put in your van? I like the blue ones, but i'm thinking i might also need a normal light too he he.
thanks for your help and advice. much appreciated. If you want me to pick you up a set of those lights for you and stick em in the post, let me know. not sure how close you are to ikea.

thanks again,
Kathy :-)

if you could pick me up a set of the white ones that would be great! we are reasonable close to ikea, it's just getting the time to go - plus i absolutely hate the place!! let me know if you need the cash and i'll wire it to you, see if you come to df and if not i'll send you my address! you'll need to put a switch on the lights, i have just used a standard mains one mounted in a cavity box on the wardrobe, to match the sockets!

Looking good dave!
Not looking like we're gonna make it to dubfreeze now i don't think. We'd have to come in the car at the moment, so think we'll spend the time sorting the rough bits out where the bulkhead has been removed instead.
Will pick you up a set of lights though and happily stick em in the post. Pm me your address.
Thanks again for all your help.
Kathy :-)
