One more question, should you leave the ele tronic ignition on?
I guess if the flame was toblow out for any reason it would just relight?

Yes, for automatic re-ignition. Well, I do anyway. It also tells you if you have run out of gas.

I have done for donkey's years, never had it blow out. You just have to remember to switch it off before you pull into a petrol forecourt. ( That was my daughter's job

More power out of the alternator saps those precious hp from the engine also.
