Had the same problem, then my pump eventually packed up.
New pump (not expensive £10 approx) really easy to fit.
Not seen the fault since.

Worth a try for a tenner if nothing else obvious works!?

:ok

Silly question time... where is the pump located? I haven't seen mine, but mine doesn't work. I haven't investigated at all yet though to be honest.

I do know where the washer tank is though!

I think your question of 'where's the pump?' has now been answered.

If you drop the tank (a few bolts) the pump will come down with it (obviously still with the electrical connections/wiring attached)

My money is on, that your pump is not working correctly or on its way out and not giving enough pressure. (mine was with the same symptoms you describe)

Have you had a look at the connections to the pump.
I assume you haven't?
Worth making sure these are clean and not corroded.
Then test the pump with a 12v supply. (when I did this mine finally died) - replaced (£10) and all fine since.

Thanks to all that helped. May I ask where you sourced your pumps from please? Thanks in advance. Mitch.

What's your theory for the heritage one not lasting? Is it a 'cheap 'n nasty'?
