Return them - goods not as described? 99 metres short.

I tried ordering one of the reels, the order was cancelled due to incorrect pricing, I think a better result than receiving one metre!

Aye, could be. I've asked for the remaining 99m, but not with any expectation of success. Meantime I've ordered elsewhere. If I get lucky I'll flog it off to supplement my T25 fund. (My currently non-existant T25 fund)

Game Over!
That's a pity, mine are due to be delivered on Saturday so I'll see what comes but the description definitely says reel length 328ft/100M

They came back to me pretty quick saying the had done a refund, and that Amazon had merged two listings by mistake.
I responded, copying bits from the Consumer Associations pages on the Consumer Rights Act, and saying they had exceeded their rights by not offering a replacement of the listed item. They've not responded, and I don't think they will somehow. Weighing up using the small claims court, but I'm not sure if the Law of England or Scotland applies, and how that affects me.

Theres also a saying "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is"

Mine said dispatched, until...
I received an email from Amazon advising I was to be refunded, containing the following
"This refund is for the following item(s):
Item: TRI RATED WIRE, 10MM2, RED, 100M PP001276 By PRO POWER
Quantity: 1
ASIN: B017W7EDUQ
Reason for refund: Shipping address is undeliverable" - No it isn't. I get deliveries most days.
So I sent this...
"Hi, this item was marked as despatched but never arrived. I see it's now being refunded because the shipping address is undeliverable. I have had no attempts at delivery notified to me, and all the usual couriers have no problem. Please do not refund, but attempt delivery again, as the address is correct.
Many thanks"
And this arrived by way of a response...
"Hi,
Thanks for contacting us.
We issued refund because item is lost in the post by Royal Mail and as it was a clearance item it is no longer available.
Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience it has caused.
Regards
Best Price Square"
The little liars! What a laughable effort at a get out. How did they know it was lost in the post? I hadn't told them that it hadn't arrived when they refunded me! Why not just say that they made a mistake, they never sent it, and the order is cancelled so here's your 8 quid back, but nice try.
I shan't be dragging them through the courts, as it was just for fun, but they certainly need to sharpen their blagging skills.

Must remember all of the above if I ever make a mistake and charge 10p instead of £100 for a cyclinder head.

You're absolutely right of course, but it was worth a shot, maybe. Anyway I've got the cable I need at an honest price now...
Suitably chastised...

If it's a mistake by Tesco or similar then f them but to me a small business is different. Double standards I know

Aye, if it's a small business I'd quite agree.
Seller was Best Price Square. A google reveals they have 360,000 different items for sale, so looks like their garage of odds and ends is a bit bigger than mine... For comparison Argos claim to have 60,000 products.
But you're right, I was just trying it on...
