If it's running lumpy check these:
Make sure that there are no air leaks on the intake side.
Check that the MAF is clean.
Fit new plugs, HT leads, dizzy cap and rotor arm.
Do you have VCDS or VCDS lite?

yes good idea , as most of the filter

pipes not air tight,also needs flushing and coolant started overheating and fan not kicking in works when wires crossed thou and new rad sensor fitted job for tomorrow what a relief to hear it run

no just got a pound shop electrical tester light ,

buy a cheap cable and download VCDS Lite

yes think I will purchase it make life easier. next job is exhaust going to find out how much a custom one will be suppose bloody expensive cant wait till she on the road and then I have to get used to lhd

well all insured 450 squid dropped off at long life Swansea for exhaust getting closer to finishing but will have to make a hat for the air filter getting bit wet from vents

next step mot and the dvla shud be fun

well long time coming went for mot failed on rear brakes happy days . 400 quid for stainless exhaust using cat from golf and manifold not to bad I suppose . first real drive to mot station what a beaut to drive smooth quiet its a joy after all the hard work bleeding knuckles swearing and sweating its all been worth it thanks for all the input . hope to tax next week then its off for a long drive give it a good test .
