Acrylic was the term used by the manufacturer for the skylight made from ASA, take it up with them not me!

No need for exclamations, perhaps you need to verify your sources and do some more research? Why do I need to contact (them) whoever they are?

"ASA is produced by introducing a grafted acrylic ester elastomer during the copolymerization reaction between styrene and acrylonitrile. Hence it being called acrylic by those that have used it as skylights. As I said I would not have stated thus without basing it upon the manufacturers statements. I did research it before making a statement."

What is wrong with you? Nowhere have I accused you of being intoxicated.
I have had enough of this ridiculousness.

In the end I used sikaflex and it seems to have done the job. Tested it today and no leaks.
