I rather miss our old Combicool. Used to put it on 240v overnight to pull it down, fill with cold stuff and only put it on gas when parked up. Never failed.
Dirty great CF-110 is twitchy and finnicky by comparison, always drops into error mode on 12v despite fat cables and a DIN plug. I suspect that the 12v socket has been damaged and/or the board needs a repair.

There is someone on eBay selling the compressor and cooling plate to convert the fridge you have. Just search waeco fridge.

Decided I haven't got the cash for a fridge which means trying to sort out the pinched gas feed pipes. I'll try and straighten it and round it again. If that fails I've seen that plastic joints can be bought to join the the pipe together if I cut the damaged piece out. Are the joints safe for gas?

You should be able to get compression fittings to suit your pipe bore,any plumbing merchant will stock them,possibly 6mm,it would be best I you could take a peice of pipe.
Should have said,mine had a kink in the pipe which made it pretty crap on gas,eased it round with a pair of grips,works brilliant now.

That's good to know. I'll give mine a go.

I did the same recently when removing my fridge. I got a mini pipe cutter and chopped it off just before the kink. I then attached a compression coupler and hand-bendable pipe.
