You can't do it online I think? I tried and it says you need to register for the forms which haven't arrived yet..
I have the Spanish equivalent of the V5.
I have an email from HMC does a letter arrive too??
They have made this a work creation scheme now I think as it used to be simple - print off forms and send them off!!
Just want my van on the road...

i remember them days. get van, get insurance, get mot - go to dvla office in town and then a week or so later it's done.

what a faff now though. i suppose it's to weed out terrorists and money launderers. like they mess about with slow old and relatively cheap things.
but what chance has someone from eastern europe who's arrived in this country as a field worker got of obeying the law and registering his car here?

You are lucky if you get anywhere with DVLA - I have been attempting to re-tax my van for the last 5 weeks and they keep running around in circles and don't seem to know what they are doing! Useless bunch of wasters. I have sent in a complaint but of course they haven't replied yet!

So 2 weeks after I began I am still waiting on a V55 application pack. I cannot download it either.
Really "pooh" and a backward step if you ask me!!
Reordered again but very frustrating!
