Every 2 years is Le Mans Vintage..early June, racers from the 20's to 80's..

There is a classic battle between the 3 healey 3 litre boys..on you tube..

With really good clubs and owners in the paddocks..

In Town..in the parkings..in the Le mans village..on the circuit..you will see every European sports car you ever dreamed of.. 8)

or..

In September there is the 'Rally des Remparts' in Angouleme..get there early and help push and start Bugattis for a real race around the town centre
..3 wheel morgans...mini coopers..

Both of these have good campings nearby..

Can be done on a long weekend.. ideal relaxation for busy engineers.. :wink:
