Thing is, I need to replace my wiper motor as well as it only works in fat mode, and therefore doesn't auto park. I've got the wiper just trying to get a decent day to fit it!

I'm going to be assigning a while weekend to it as I want to check all the wiring and tidy it where I can.

If you take the panel off where the heat is blown out, in front of the gear stick and then take the tubing off, bit of an arm stretch, I squirted some gt85 in mine and that seems to have stopped the squeaky noise for now on mine..

Sure, but it doesn't do anything to mitigate the secondary problem of a tired motor drawing considerable amps. The temptation then is to forget the job until the next winter (or even weeks later) when you start blowing fuses or more likely, get the traditional smoke from under the dash. Typically owners put bigger and bigger fuses in until the wiring is severely overloaded. Plus, once the bearings are gone, they're gone I'm afraid. On the plus side we're heading into warmer months now so changing it won't be such a pain.
