GSF and Euro car parts both have phone numbers and they are more than happy to discuss brands.

Yes, I know, unfortunately I don't have the patience to wait for them to answer. It was no problem when I was ringing from work !
Why don't they put the brand on the advert ? Anyone would think they had something to hide. I'm too busy enjoying my retirement to hang on the phone waiting and hoping that they might answer.

More tricky if you don't have a GSF branch near to you but I always go in person so I can check parts for suitability before any cash is handed over, and the only reason why I know they sell the GKN/Lobro ones. Whilst not strictly a sign of quality, the GKN ones are blued on the faces that accept the race, an indication that some hardening has been carried out. Cheap ones don't and soon wear out in my experience.
