Thanks for the info, will look into that, what's the fitting like for this flooring
It was very easy to fit. I put 3mm closed cell foam roll to metal floor (for cold/heat & sound insulation), on top went 6mm marine grade plywood using 8 self tapping screws through floor (cut/grounded screw ends flat on the underside and vactan/tiger seal after that), then I just used evotec glue and rolled out the vinyl flooring on top.
If I had to do it again, I wouldn't change a thing apart from the colour (went with white which looks nice but pain to keep clean on holiday. The stuff is brilliant, it looks and feels quality and is very strong.

Does the laminate not get very slippy with wet feet? Or do you add a rug? I bought another mat to replace the original westy one (which some kind person plonked a battery on when the van when for a service) it's like the weather carpet mat you get in shop doorways etc. rubber on the bottom carpet on the top. I found it super stuff. Just hall it out on the drive and give it a vaccum and stick it back in

I didn't bother screwing my base down to the steel floor. ( rust problems in the future imo)

I've got a wood effect vinyl in mine Ant (22mm if I remember right). Nice and soft under foot and easy to clean:

Thank you, took up the old carpet when we got the van and replaced it with checkerboard cushioned vinyl. I was forever cleaning it[two Jack Russells in and out of the van all the time] so made up this "fitted mat" of easigrass putting green material. Just placed it over the existing flooring, nice and warm in your bare feet and brushes out easily.

I used wood effect vinyl too, the dog doesn't slip on it but likes to lay on it when we are parked up.
