What ever you do make sure the system is leak tested after you have installed. Ideally you want someone who is Gas Safe registered to perform a tightness test on the system. Propane and Butane are heavier than air and unlike natural gas will sink to the lowest point in the van.

I cannot stress how important it is to test it.

You also need three straps to hold a gas bottle. It's the law.

yes it is, only on new installations, if they can prove when you bought and fitted it. It isn't retro-applied.
