Interesting thing, MOTs and horns. By the book it should have a single tone and work, however theres nothing in the rules that says you can't have several individual ones or even one for the passenger. Mine is set up like that - klaxon horn for passenger if he sees another T25, a friendly horn and a "$%&*£$% - get out of my $£%"£$&* way!!!" horn.

I've often thought that the stock horn on a T25 is a bit feeble. Did think about fitting a second stock one, alongside the first.

Worth doing - 'mood' horns.

I remember someone locally years ago had a "mood " horn which played various farm animal noises, ducks, cows , sheep etc .
Or was it a "moooo " horn

Got one of those too. Just never fitted it.

Re mot, iirc it just says summat like "must be fitted with an audible means of warning of approach"

As well as the standard horn, I have a small metal "PA" speaker which plugs into the back of my CB radio. I can use that as an "audible means of warning of approach" = "I say, you there on that bicycle, I am approaching you and I jolly well think you should pull in to the side somewhat and allow me to pass" and stuff like that.

I've heard you say those very words. Think it was a bit shorter though - from memory

Bottom screw that holds the stalks on is probably contacting the horn ring for one reason or another.
Maybe steering wheel to stalk gap isn't sufficient.
Not seen it but look through the gap and turn the wheel, see if you have contact where you shouldn't.
As a temporary fix drop a 22mm copper washer over the column above the plastic sleeve to space it off.

Yeah this is an MOT fail if yr horn Doesn't work which is why I'm trying to get mine working at the moment!

Ours works via a toggle switch on the dash, can't get it working from the steering wheel.
