Thank you. I thought that might be the case but looked like it could be caused by wear.

Thanks for advice, Arm replaced.
I don't want the same problem again.
Should I grease the new bolts inside the sleeve or leave dry?

Greasing the interface between the bolts and sleeve with something like Copaslip sounds like a good idea, although it will be difficult to do without also getting grease on the bolt threads. If you do get grease on the bolt threads, then the bolt tension you achieve for the given 100Nm torque will be higher than VW intended. Whether that is a bad thing or not depends on who you ask, and also how much of a margin for error VW left on these things. My impression is that most people here would use Copaslip but keep an eye on things.

Would agree with above. If you've ever had the misfortune to have to resort to a gas axe to get the bush out (I have), copperslip is the first thought when fitting a new bush and bolt. :shock:
