It's quite a noise...
(Frozen throttle cable on a DG and it survived)

I though wbx were supposed to have a rev limiting rotor arm, mine has, 5600 I think.

This one didnt! Absolutely screamed, must have been high side of 7k

Any Janet and John wiring schematic for a rev counter retro fit? A feed from the - coil pin is it??

The tacho will have wiring instructions.
But it is usually the alternator or coil yes.
